    So, Do You Think ...?

Hello. My name is Catherine LeAnn and I am a very new member to this wonderful and most enchanting site!

My post is fairly simple enough. I want to ask you about visualization and strong desire coupled together, for lack of a better term.

So, do you think that if I practice visualization of what it is that I absolutely NEED (as opposed to "want"), and couple my visualization with my strong desire to have it that what I need will come to me? At the moment, my altar is empty and I have no resources to restock it and what I need has to do with money anyway.

Any and ALL serious replies are encouraged, and thank you for your time and your consideration on this matter.

    Blessed Be!

    Catherine LeAnn

Please remeber this, first of all:  your altar is never "empty."  A pure and sacred space will always be Divinely Blessed.  I'm reasonably sure many will agree that we have all seen cluttered spaces claiming to be altars that are only for human eyes with no more sincere spiritual devotion than a pile of rubbish.

Your altar may always evolve.  If you have needs for it, be assured they will be provided.

Trust that the inward grownings of the soul are always heard, and visualizations are part of this.  Words, spoken aloud or not, may accompany these beseachings.  As I understand, throughout my life, all my Gods provide generously.  We do, though, have to recognize Their gifts and be willing to embrace them.  I spend far more of my moments today giving thanks for unasked for gifts than I would have ever believed.

Remain patient, Catherine!  The first things that we think we need are rarely the needs that They see.  Trust that you will be cared for fully!

Re: So, Do You Think ...?

so say suppose your desire is for $1000 so it can pay your rent. otherwise you will be homeless. should u focus on the $1000 dollars or should u focus on having a place to stay next month.

what about if 'god/universe' (or whatever word you want to use) has the plan for you that this is their way to make u stronger. to teach you to have faith. to teach you not to be attached to the outcome but have trust in the higher being.

in my experience some of my visualisations with strong desire has come true and some havent. and the ones that didnt and went horribly wrong - were the best things that happened to me. i found 'fearful' experiences taught me faith and love adn peace. not the happy ones. they taught me how to be free. how not to live in fear.

so dont attach yourself to the result of your visualisation. if it happens great, if it doesnt its still ok. life will still be ok.  have faith in yourself that you will be able to overcome anything.

Preeta, you have given some very sound insight and advice!  I do hope we get an update from Catherine soon.

Asking for what we need is the asking for a home; the specifics (dollar amounts, for instance) must be between the individual and his/her Gods.  Asking for help to live within one's means, though, is more likely to be answered promptly than a prayer to live beyond one's means.  We all need a boost, now and then, but for anybody to seek to take advantage of anyone's generosity is foolish and, perhaps, potentially dangerous.

So many, too, refuse to see that they have the power to accomplish their goals if they are willing to work along with their visualizations.  Just because there is a cow in the pasture does not mean that there is milk on the table; one must go out with a pail and get to work.  As my ol' Dad would say, "pray to catch the bus, but get up and out of the easy chair and run!"

As long as you couple action with this intent, you should be fine. It may take some time to manifest, but you know I don't think that it'd matter overly much if you had all the 'bells and whistles'.

I used to teach The craft to inmates who wanted to learn. Needless to say they could not have many things that many of us take for granted such as candles and the like. Much of their working I would teach was in meditation and using what they had in their cells. According to most of them it really helped them out a lot and for that I am glad that I could be a part of it.

Just don't rest on your laurels and do whateve3r it is you are able to do to manifest that which you need. You will always have what you need..always.
