I need your help. I've been dating this one guy off and on for a year and he talks about the future constantly. I barely ever do. I seriously need to know where this is heading. I do care about him a lot but it's just confusing to me.

I really need your help!
I've known this guy Bryan for 20 years now. We met when we were 14 years old in gym class. He had just transferred to the school I was at. We had serious chemistry, but after high school went our separate ways. He joined the army as his dad died at the end of our senior year. We wrote each other while he was stationed in Germany and then eventually lost touch again.
That was back in the mid 1990's. I gave up on him and eventually all but forgot him. I was looking to meet my "true love." I prayed every nite asking to find my true love/soulmate. In all those years apart, I continually either saw him in person, on the news, in the paper. Once I drove by a bar in my neighborhood and the bar sign said "Welcome Home Sergeant _______" and our town isn't small (almost half a million people). I felt like I couldn't escape him or his memory.
This past January, I had major surgery and stopped breathing for an unknown amount of time. The doctors warned my parents I may have brain damage. I woke up in intensive care (thank God without any lasting effects).
Ever since, I've been VIVIDLY dreaming about Bryan, thinking of him, wondering about him. One time recently I dreamed we were in class together and he was leaning his head on me and when I briefly woke up, I still felt his head on me. We have a strong connection.
I wonder if he's the answer to my prayers for my true love. The thought has been on my mind so much. I feel that he is. I'm uncertain what to do. I've asked God and my angels for signs that he is the one and that he is the one I'm being led to. I've received those signs. Just when I think "oh no - I'm not going to see ______(whatever sign i've asked for), I see it.
Please help me to understand my true path and what I should/shouldn't do. I feeling like I'm waiting for something, but not sure if it's meant to be.

I just really feel lost and I think that you are right that what I thought was meant to be, that I would find a man who would more or less take care of me, was meant to be even though it was mostly my parents belief.
I love children and, after three miscarriages, had lost all hope. You're words mean so much. Working with children and working for a good cause, to help those in need, what a wonderful thought. That would be so fullfilling for me, because I relate to the world through my own art and I do have a knack for teaching.
All I can say is that, I knew much of what you said and I knew that I needed guidance and that someone was supposed to provide it. I think that is what drew me to this forum. You have provided a missing link and I thank you so much!
My biggest problem is I simply need to believe in myself, I know it but, at times I become fearful and this world seems to be such a huge and scary uncertain place that I just want to hide. Truly, I know that if I would just believe and have faith I can surmount anything. The trouble is developing that courage since I have been trained that I am nothing. I wonder, how do you have faith to continue on?
I read some animosity in the posts in the backlog. Thost awful evil people. I want you to know that you're greatly appreciated but in the face of such adversity. I don't know how you found the courage to come back on but I really needed your help.

Nice to meet you! I just wanted to comment on the fact that it does not seem to be a coincidence that you wrote to Anakya. You're question, your admission of fear has sparked a strong feeling of understanding for me. I have the same issues, knowing that the world is what we make of it but overcoming the fear that we can affect it is...troublesome.
I just wanted to share something with you, there is a technique in a book called Turning the Mind Into and Ally by Sakyong Mipham wherein when meditating rather then just focusing on something the point is to label thoughts as nothing more then thoughts and let them go. This was a very helpful techqnique for me.
When reading, Anakya's words to you I thought of that technique. Too often I get lost in my fear and dwell on my broke dreams as well as my self doubt until I spiral into oblivion. Perhaps, when catching ourselves thinking negative thoughts, perhaps we should acknowledge, label them and dismiss them.
Not trying to annhilate them, for at times there is a good message in those fears, perhaps an intuitive warning, but rather by acknowledgeing them we recongnize there is something not right in that area, if they are unfounded labeling them negative thoughts and then releasing them seems like an applicable formula...through which we can sort through the irrational fears and rise above.
Just a thought.

It is my understanding that underlying your question is your desire to know if this man is 'the one' (to coin a phrase) and whether you are somehow destined to be with him despite your not feeling the same as he does. There is a definite difference of viewpoint between him and you, and both your needs and goals seem to be on totally different wavelengths, although you have obviously come together due to there being some common ground. In short, he is ready to settle - with his concept of a relationship in mind, whereas you are not. Your sense that there is more to experience for you in terms of relationships (besides him) is correct. In this instance, you must follow your heart and decide what it is you really want.

Well, firstly I can confirm that this man IS one of your soulmates, so all of the signs you have been given by the universe, your Guides, and the angels is absolutely true. He is one with whom there is a deep bond on a spiritual level too - which has involved you both meeting up in the astral when you have been travelling out of body - hence your 'memories' and dreams of him are quite real, for you have actually been meeting up in the astral. Have faith that you are indeed being 'guided' towards the things in your life that are right, and would be fulfilling for you. The timing is good for you to actively seek out this man, and make contact with him.
Incidentally, you had an out of body experience during the surgery in which you spent some time with your guardian angel, and reviewed this life. You had to decide whether you would come back or not, and when you 'saw' that you would meet up with this man again, you wanted to be part of your earthly life again. It wasn't time for you to pass, either. There are some other things that will come to light about that experience too - with your intuitive and clairvoyant ability being heightened since the event.
Thank you Anakya! I feel the same thing deep in my soul. I've been telling my family that "something" happened when I wasn't breathing. I just FEEL it. Something about Bryan in my life because ever since, he has been on my mind, in my dreams and I've been getting the same thought over and over - that he's the answer to my prayers for my true love. And it just came out of nowhere. I was fine, wasn't thinking of him, then BOOM he's in my life again.
I guess I'm just scared of getting hurt or let down. I feel such a connection to him. I forgot to tell you in my original email, but I did contact him. I felt compelled to email him back in July through Classmates.com. He emailed me back. I emailed him on his dad's birthday in early September and he emailed me twice. He asked "how are things"? Unfortunately, I found out he's currently living out of the country. I'm scared wondering if he'll ever come home.

Well firstly, there is a lot the angels would say to you...you are a very special soul, and your path is more than what you had thought it was. Given this, it would be preferable to give you a full Soul Reading (see my initial post where you can go onto my personal website) which you might consider, if you wish., to give you more perspective on your path.
What they are saying at present is that it is good that you see the growth that has occurred because of your experiences, but also you need to not be so hard on yourself, as what happened in your work situation was the result of energies - and personalities - conflicting, and that means you were not soley responsible for what occurred. You are a forward-thinking person who says what they feel, you have good intuitive perceptiveness of what 'lies beneath the surface', and that is not always received well by those who have much to hide. There are always lessons in diplomacy regarding such matters. Understand also that this is a part of your gift - your insight and your vivacious personality, and you must never let the reactions of others stop you from being who you are and from being true to yourself. You cannot be responsible for the reactions of others, only your own actions. What happened simply heralds a change of direction for you, see it as a new adventure about to occur.
It would seem that you should consider a complete change from the type of work you had been doing, and in this sense, what has happened this past year could be a blessing in disguise,,. It would be advisable to persue a new direction in which you would possibly be working for yourself, or at least be in control of your own situation. It may also involve learning new skills as well. I have a vision of the fashion world, and something to do with design of clothing being either directly, or through association, connected to you.

I just want to say that 1) I still get "auto-generated" emails with every post here, but lack the tme 2 resond immediately.
2) I have noticed U help a few "lost "souls' without posting "other" personal website 4 potential subjects and montery gains. This "forum" is a "self rewarding" way 2 help those truly in need of guidance & clarity of the surrounding energies in thier lives and NOT 2 B used for any kind of "solicitation" -> than includes "Avon" Ladies. LOL
I also want to add, that I think U have a "elite" style of writing, very eloquent and positive, albiet, a bit "lengthy". We have 2 B careful NOT 2 lose the "subject" in over explaining the laws of Attraction and the infinite nature of souls and Universal representatives like Angels and Spirit Guides. Too much information can "drown" the mind and block the "digestion" process. U have the writer's gift, no question, it's just the "editing" that needs tweaking.
In point, the more ppl U "help" the more ppl will HELP U....in the ways that serve UR higher aspirations....AND, in the financial area 2. Keep up the good work!

Hi Anakya,
For the past two years, it's been very difficult for me to find a job. I was laid off about two years ago, and since then have only been able to get short term employment. The past two or three jobs have been working with very abusive employers and one that wasn't paying his taxes or employees. I've been working as an Office Manager or Administrative Assistant. Should I change my line of work or am I approaching this the wrong way.
I'm a double scorpio. My birthdate is 11/18/47. I have no one to fall back on for financial help. Please help to guide the way for me.

With everything that happens in life, there are things to be gained through each experience, even the difficult ones. At the root of your issue is how you perceive yourself and how you move through the world as a result. Firstly, it is important to know and remember that YOU are in control of your destiny in terms of having the power to draw to you experiences and things that you need for your growth and to succeed in life. There is an essence here of a feeling of 'staleness' and thoughts within you that you are kind of 'on the shelf' at this point in your life, but there is a deeper sense of wanting to change direction because the 'old' way does not bear fruit any longer. That is the directive that is coming from your Higher Self, you deepest intuition, and you should listen to it. You need to think of yourself as confident and worthy, even if you do not feel so at the time. You also need to make the conscious statement to the universe that you will no longer be part of any scenario where you are made to feel powerless or abused. You need to actually proclaim this aloud in the form of a prayer or affirmation which has the power to change the energy pattern. This is very important, because you have a pattern of attracting this kind of energy in various ways. Then act as if it has already happened and say: "I am fully supported and will always have exactly what I need". Say this over and over to yourself in your mind throughout the days until it becomes second nature.
The most likely direction you should take will involve working in service where you are dealing with people face to face, giving them some kind of advice or guidance. Though it will not be as highly paid, it will be more rewarding in other ways, and help you gain confidence.
Instead of focusing on what went wrong, or what did not work for you, begin to project thoughts using your imagination which details what you WANT to happen from now onward, instead of what you do not. In your mind's eye see people talking to you and treating you as you want to be treated, as a worthy and valuable person, and an asset to their business.
