I have been campaigning for and supporting Barack Obama since he took the Iowa primaries.  I drew a Tarot card for him when he became the presumptive nominee,  and received the Page of Cups,  which I thought quite fitting.  I have always thought this to be a card of charm,  charisma,  loyalty and faithfulness in love and in service,  and a youthful male bringing  messages of hope.  I do think he can fulfill these badly needed qualities to our national crisis.  Admittedly,  he has his faults,  but they are compensated by his many fine traits.

the cards are tools for divination, just like a hammer or a screwdriver are tools for construction.  meanings change depending on the situation, the reader's perspective or relativity to the situation.  there are no hard, fast meanings to the cards. Barack Obama IS young compared to other politicians. he is also the voice for young voters in America.  you can use a screwdriver to drive in a screw, remove a screw, or  pry open a can of paint.  it has many uses (interpretations), depending on the situation at hand. susan, i think your interpretation is sound.
