my name is twyla and i am partially writing in reply to carmen dances with pugs, first off you are soo not crazy, second off, no you don't want to be able to see actual appritions they can at times be very frightning!! what you are able to see is extraordonary, don't push it!! lol  embrace your very strong and powerful gifts!! my gifts are clairvoynce, discernment, and i can help spirits (ghosts) cross over.  i have been trying to start my own business paranormal investigations of SWLA and everytime the subject gets brought up, i am constantly told im silly, crazy, or just not believed, unless you have gifts like we do people don't understand we can't help it, we can't turn it off it's a part of us just like an appendage.  they don't understand the need to use our gifts, it's a deep seeded need, that will not go away until we put our gifts to use!!  keep your heads up my fellow psychics, clairvoyants, mediums, etc.  we need each other !!!!!!!!!!!!!     

I agree with you hun. A lot of people who do not share the same understanding as we do cannot fully grasp the idea of another world. Only because deep down in their psyche's the thoughts of this are quite scary and they choose not to see it because maybe if they start believing they will find they feel and see very frightening things. At first when i was younger i thought i was going nuts as well. See, i have the gift of empathy. So i can literally feel others emotions and just their vibrations in general. So when i would get into large crowds i would become so irritated and crazy i barely went out a lot of the time. Or if i did it was only a short lived experience lol. Then when i came across texts that revealed this gift i understood that what i possessed should not be shunned but embraced and controlled so that it didn't drive me insane. And now i use this gift to help so many people with so many issues they come to me with and it feels so great to actually be able to understand what others feel and then know how to help them. I also have a sixth sense as well when it comes to supernatural entities. I have had many experiences, one of my major ones was seeing my Dad get possessed. It was very tough because he almost died from it. So trust me i too can understand what it feels like to go through these very experiences and feel like you are alone. But we are not alone, never. There are plenty of people like us EVERYWHERE.
